Mr. Oropesa was born in Hialeah, FL 1981. Mr. Oropesa’s interest in law developed at a young age as he desired to follow in his father’s footstep who is also an attorney. Mr. Oropesa runs a solo practice firm in Hialeah, FL where he concentrates his practice on Criminal and Family Law, and serves Of Counsel to The Law Office of Ray Garcia, P.A.

Mr. Oropesa attended Miami-Dade College where he graduated in May 2008 with an Associate in Arts with a Political Science concentration. Mr. Oropesa continued his studies at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, FL where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies in August of 2009. While attending UCF he distinguished himself by being named to the President’s List and Dean’s List because of his high academic grades. Mr. Oropesa remained in Orlando, FL for law school and attended Barry University School of Law earning his Juris Doctorate in December of 2012. Mr. Oropesa earned the Book Award for Real Estate Transactions, which is awarded to the student with the highest academic achievement in the specific course. Mr. Oropesa was invited for membership into the Barry Law Review, a prestigious distinction offered to the top 10% of law students at their respective law school after completing their first year of study. Mr. Oropesa served as Associate Editor of the law review for the 2010-2011 publication year, and then was elected by his peers as Business Editor and to the Executive Board of the law review for the 2011-2012 publication year. Mr. Oropesa was further invited as a student member of the George C. Young American Inn of Court, a prestigious distinction offered to only a handful of students annually at their respective law school. Mr. Oropesa enrolled in a Certificate Program while attending law school which focused in Trial Advocacy, which he successfully completed and earned an Honors Certificate for.

Mr. Oropesa represents his clients zealously and tirelessly, and strives to place his clients in the best position possible going forward after resolving their legal matter. Mr. Oropesa is fluent in both English and Spanish, to include written and spoken. Mr. Oropesa is a member of the Florida Bar and the Southern District of Florida.
