Firmly believing that everyone should have a voice within our judicial system, he donates his time to causes that are dedicated to this principle. He is the Immediate Past President of the Palm Beach County Legal Aid Society, which provides free legal help to those most in need in our community. Mr. Garcia has also served as president of the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association, which encourages qualified Hispanic attorneys to run for judgeship. In September 2010, Governor Charlie Crist appointed him to serve a four-year term on the 15th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission, which selects judicial applicants to fill vacancies within the Palm County judicial system. Beach.
Mr. Garcia's community and educational activities include serving as a member of the Palm Beach County Historical Society Board of Governors and the Forum Club Board of Directors.
